As a follow up to the Fitness Check of the EU Nature Directives, the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions and the Maltese Presidency are jointly hosting a conference on 6 June 2017 on the EU Nature Directives Action Plan.
The objective is to present and discuss with EU Member States and key stakeholders from both the private sector and non-government organisations the new Action Plan, which aims to improve implementation of the Birds and Habitats Directives and their coherence with socio-economic objectives.
Documentation will be made available to registered participants no less than one week before the conference. There will be simultaneous interpretation from English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Polish to English, French, German and Spanish.

Priority will be given to invited participants. Others interested in attending will be registered until the room capacity limit has been reached. Please note that it may not be possible to accept all registration requests.
